Property Accessibility

Built in 1835, The Lindsey Hotel is a historic property, and we want to be upfront about what that means for accessibility.

Our building has no elevator, and our guest rooms and spaces were not designed to meet modern ADA standards.

That said, we do offer Room 9, our most accessible option, which features ramp entry and direct ramp access to all of our main common areas, including the lobby, dining room, living room, library, and exterior deck. Guests staying in Room 9 can move through the heart of the property without steps.

We encourage guests with mobility considerations to contact us directly before booking so we can honestly discuss whether our property is a good fit for your needs. We want every guest to have a wonderful stay, and we'd rather have that conversation upfront.
